I had my nails done at another location and was not happy at all. They were way too wide and thick... I called hippy nails and despite them closing in 15mins they fit me in. Sylvia did an amazing job and stayed late fixing my nails. I am so much happier now! She knows what she is doing. Very kind and nice staff :)

Had a pedicure at this salon. The woman who did my nails was sweet and gentle. Also, she actually cut my toenails instead of filing them, like some other salons do. I'm quite happy with the bright summer colour on my toes.

Wow!! A very good price for nails and they have been great with Covid 19 precautions. My nails have fun pattern done each time and Sylvia loves trying a new pattern. It is difficult to find a creative shop. They are all friendly and say hello a lot. They make me feel welcome in their shop. Other shops are good for basic, but they get grump to try new patterns. This is, by far, the best shop in Calgary! :-).

I just moved into the neighbourhood and decided to try them out. The staff are very good at their job and their cleaning and sterilization practices are top notch. The staff was very welcoming and very thorough.

I find at some other places that there is male discrimination when you come for a pedicure. Usually they want to get you in and out as fast as possible in 20 mins or so. Today I had my feet and legs pampered like never before. It was really nice to see someone care about their work as much as the lady who tended to my overworked and tired feet.

This is also the first place I have been to where they bag and tag all the sterilized tools after they come out of the sterilization machine. They make up little kits containing all the metal and disposable tools with dates and times they were cleaned and prepped. They also open the sealed bags right in front of you and only use the tools on you. After they are done they toss the disposable items and put the reusable ones aside for cleaning.

They also clean out the footbaths and put the plastic bag in the bath like other places. Unlike some other places they still use the jets and I watched them clean out the filters and wash them in the sink. It was nice to see them take the effort to ensure the cleanliness of everything before, during and after my pedicure

I have been to other places where sometimes I was questioning that the tools being used on me were fresh and sanitized. This is not a question with this salon. The job is top notch and this was the best pedicure I have had and they are cheaper then the place I used to frequent by 10.00! - This left me more money to tip and they deserved a good tip for the job they did!

This is the Nails Salon I would refer for all of my friends. I came here for a new set of Gel-Nails, a Shellac Pedicure and waxing services. They have hundreds of Shellac colors to choose from and a large number of Staffs that can intake almost of any Walk-ins at any time. The services were excellent, but prices were affordable. These women were amazing. This is the place I would go for my next beautiful services.

I hadnt return before now because the salon is out of my way and I wasnt pleased with the narrow selection of colour choices of Shellac in the past. I was in the neighbourhood today and Im really impressed with the expansion on colour choices! The price makes it worth going out of my way and I will make this my regular nail salon!

I came for a shellac pedicure today. My experience was really great!! I found the place to bright, clean and smelled good. I found the woman to be quite thoughtful and thorough with each step. My tech wore gloves and was careful with all sterilization efforts. My polish was placed mindfully and results were perfect. I will return happily. Thank you!

Loved it! I needed a new nail salon as the one I go to was too far but they did a great job. So I tried them and what I loved about my service (gel fill), was my nails were a WRECK, a total disaster. Mary did a great job, was very thorough and shaped them very nicely. What I liked most, is she kept using my name and my name is not usual. She said it right and talked to me, making me feel very welcome and more importantly like she valued my business and wanted to make a connection. I am in sales so to see someone in the salon industry let me know that they want my business and don't just rely on doing a great job means a lot. Price was great, service, options, and relationship building were great. I will be going back from now on.

I got shellac nails in light pink. They look great and only cost $20. However it smelled very strongly of chemicals and gave me a headache. They were talking about me in their language the whole time. The lady doing my nails would say something and the other ladies would turn and stare at me, I found it rude because it was obvious that they were talking about me.

I have been here a few times and I love this place! Its easy to get into, the ladies are so friendly and do a great job. When getting a pedi they give your legs a massage with exfoliator and the massage chairs are a big bonus.

It is reasonably priced, $35 for a pedi or $45 for a mani-pedi. Not the fanciest place but still very clean with a good atmosphere. I'd highly recommend it!

Canadian Hippy Nails offers some of the cheapest mani/pedi combos in town. For $45/person, you can get BOTH a mani and a pedi and it takes them less than 45 minutes to do BOTH.

At one point there were 3 different women working on my hands and feet.

Yes, they are chatty and no they don't offer translations, but they do a FANTASTIC job and like I said, they do it at some of THE best rates in the city.

I was very impressed with their work and I can't wait to book my next appointment when I plan to take full advantage of their $35 acrylic nails deal. $35 for acrylics you ask?!?!? YES! Like I said - best prices in town!

Located right beside Starbucks in Garrison Woods (Mardaloop) I love this place! The only reason it's not getting the full five stars is because of the atmosphere... It's pretty plain and not even remotely spa like, but they do a great job at a great price!
I'm not good at the whole "appointment" thing when it comes to nails... So for me walking in to an always busy studio and being told yes they can fit me in (even though they juggle quite a bit) makes me feel warm and fuzzy inside :)
